Fried Dumpling
Fried Dumpling, located on Mosco street, is a hole-in-the-wall spot that’s on the itinerary of every Chinatown food tour. The first dumpling stall in Chinatown, it revolutionized cheap eats when it opened in 1999. Their famous pork and chive dumplings are characteristic of the Shandong province. It features a slightly thicker and chewier skin pan-fried until it’s perfectly golden brown and crispy.
While they are most known for their fried dumplings, we can’t get enough of their frozen ones. A bag of 30 dumplings goes for $6. These handmade dumplings are great, either fried or boiled. We haven’t found a better deal in Chinatown yet!
Tip: Make sure to bring cash.
